Shawnee's a street wise pickpocket with a heart of gold. She uses her light finger talents only as a
means to provide food and clothing and a roof over the heads of her younger brother and sister.
Ojean 16 yrs. and Fawna 13 yrs. Shawnee's had the care of them every since their worthless tramp of
a mother took off a few months ago and left the kids behind.

She doesn't like to steal from others, but unable to find a job because no one wants to hire the town
tramps daughter, she's had no other choice. The kids have to have food!!

Shawnee and her siblings have had a hard time trying to live down 'who' their parents were. A mother
who slept with any male who showed an interest, and a father who stole what he wanted when he
couldn't cheat someone out of it. Shawnee has tried to keep the worst of it away from the kids.  She
lies to them about where the money she has comes from. Not wanting them to think bad about her,
but the kids know... They just don't want their sister to feel sad because of it. So they pretend that the
food they eat and the clothes they wear were bought from the money Shawnee made working at the inn,
just like she said.

One day she tries to pick the pocket of a rider from Whiteriver and gets caught. She's lucky Saul
is an understanding man. When she breaks down and tells him the truth, he insists on meeting
Ojean and Fawna. When he sees little Fawna, who's been ill and not getting any better, he decides to
take them all back to Whiteriver Warren so the little girl can get the help she needs.

At first Shawnee is hesitant about moving, but the rider soon assures her that she would be able to
find work there and the kids could go to a school and learn how to read and write. After seeing some of
the quality work in some of the things Shawnee has made to brighten up their drab little rooms, the
rider assures her that she'd have no problem getting a job at the warren tailor shop.

"And your brother and sister will always have enough to eat. So you won't have to worry about
stealing for food ever again."

With the promise of an honest job and enough food to eat for her siblings, Shawnee agrees to go
with him to Whiteriver, unaware that he has a second reason for wanting her safe in the Warren. For
he's seen that special aura around her that speaks of a dragon affinity. It's strong around Shawnee
and that younger brother of hers.

While in Whiteriver. Shawnee feel in love with Saul and he with her. But he was slow to admit it
and commit to her so she was on her way out of there with her family (and the baby she just found
out she was carrying) when Saul stopped her and finally told her he loved her. They became mates
after that and until a female rider who resented Shawnee’s hold on him were happy.

Then things started happening. Terrorist attacked the Warren not once but twice. Then Saul
seemed to be slipping away from his family and when Shawnee found out he had been with this other
woman she told him to make up his mind or move out. It broke her heart because he was acting so
strange. One minute saying he loved only her then the next admitting he’d been with Gwyna again.
It was later found out that Gwyna had been using a drug on him to make him do what she wanted and
gave him so much of it that it nearly killed him. That was when Shawnee decided she could no
longer live in Whiteriver any longer and Saul agreed to move with her to start their lives over. They
picked Jasra to begin again.

Once they arrive in Jasra things start looking up for them. Shawnee’s Father and his family have come
with them and they are making a new start. Her father and his mate open a Leather Shop, and Saul
is asked to become the Jasra searcher.

Then Wraiths attack the Warren and some ships out in the sea. When the Wingleader is injured,
Shawnee takes it upon herself to lead the Wings riders into battle and because of her quick actions
the Wraiths are defeated, but one rider, Ed'wen,  thinks she was careless. But someone else
disagreed and a result Jasra’s Warrenlady, Tara asks Shawnee to remain on as The new Wingleader
in Jasra and she accepts.
 

Dragon: Doshayne

Attitude: Full of self importance and a bit vain, but will do anything for her rider. Loves to show off her
speed and roll on a dime turns.  And when ever her riders not around she came be found cuddling up to
any male dragon around. (shameless hussy her) But thinks Fayloth ( Shawnee's mate Saul's Dragon )
is the smartest, bravest and most handsome dragon ever born.

Daddy’s little girl. She takes after the best in both parents with her father coloring and the aqua eyes that every woman in Shawnee’s family is known for.

Ojean

16 yrs. 5’6" dark blonde hair, blue eyes Shawnee's little brother, he's friendly and makes friends easily. Telepathic with Doshayne, Shawnee's dragon and some others dragons when there is a need. Looks up to Saul and respects his opinion more then anyone else's. Is also very protective of his sisters and doesn’t like to see them hurt.

Wondering what to do with the pair, Trinale of Whiteriver Warren, had been using them  as a second courier, and in Jasra Tara, the Warrenlady has asked him to share the duties with another Dragonrider, Darlea.

He has a special friendship with a girl name Cill, who's family was also from Whiteriver Warren, but chose to come to Jasra when trouble back home made them flee. Ojean is worth a second look. He's starting to come into his inches and is filling out to be a nice looking young man, and though some females do look twice.. he only has eyes for Cill, even though they are both to young right now to realize what they feel for each other.

Joined with Teewith. A lone dragon egg from a none Queen
hatching by luck of being there.

Dragon: Teewith

1 yr. Tealish blue. there’s something special about Teewith. He is not the same size as others of the same age. But he is still growing. His growth is in direct correlation to his riders. As Ojean grows so does Teewith. When asked, or teased about his size, Tee tells other dragons that he will be every bit as big as he needs to be for his rider and isn’t worried about his small size now.

He will also *not* rise to mate until his rider is old enough to handle what that means. Nor will he be put into a fighting wing. But in every other way the two are a real rider/dragon pairing. Their last job was running messages for the Warrenlady in Whiteriver Warren and as a courier for his adopted father Lord Vaddon.

Fawna

13 yrs. White blonde hair, aqua eyes. She's a smaller version of her older sister Shawnee. Will be a beauty when she's older. Friendly but shy. Always tries to be good, she hates when people are mad at her, or raise their voices, even if it's not directed at her.
She loves her family more then anything, and thinks of Saul as her hero.

She loves her new life in Jasra. mostly because she now has a true best friend in her younger half sister Sammy. Though a few years apart in age, the two are are always together. Both have discovered the *Dolphins* who swin in the waters near Jasra and have become quite good at dealing with them. They even have several Dolphins who will come play with them.

Though she loves her sister Shawnee, and all she did for her and her brother after their real mother left them, she really likes Tahsa, her fathers newest wife and Sammy's mother, and finds havinga mommy is really cool. But no one could take the place in her heart she holds for Shawnee.

 47, light blue eyes, blond hair. Father of Shawnee, Ojean, Fawna and Sammy. Ex mate of Owlean, a very bad woman who left him and took his three kids with her. He searched for them for a long time before finally finding them in living in Whiteriver Warren. Wasn't always a Tanner by trade. Though he knew the work. He met his wife several years ago, but was to wild for her back then. He has only with in the last year found her again and the daughter he didn't know they had together. He's promised to give up his old way of life for the chance to apart of their lives. He's never regretted his decision for a moment. He didn’t even think twice about moving to Jasra when asked. He’d do anything to make up for the past, and get to know his children again, and earn their love.

Tahsa

33, light blue eyes, brown hair. Worked in her father's Tanner shop in town when she met the tall handsome older man. She knew she loved him from the start, but his wild ways scared her and when she found out she was pregnant with his child, sent him packing, fearing for her daughter because of the crowd he hung around with.
Years later, a tired almost broken man
came back into her life, promising to give up his old ways and start anew as long as she would let him into their lives. They have been together every since and when he found out that his first three children where living in Whiteriver Warren, she moved there with him. Just as she followed Saul and Shawnee to Jasra when asked.

12 yrs. Eyes a light almost aqua color. Light blond hair. A sweet lovable child who never causes many problems cause she doesn't want her daddy to leave them. She'll do anything for him and her mommy. Very smart and polite. A good friend for those who want to be friends. Is inseparable from Fawna her half sister. The two of them can always be fond together.
