Khojda rugi u room (The other side of the mountain)

Žafi žim, kałpa khirin, zja ba laaš.
Tall trees, leaves yellow like flame.

Khak vyšamrin të vytsavin saj mikvěraš.
Stars are bright and waterfalls abundant.

Sa ni vykhadałaz saj linaar jĕgaviz?
What is there where the dragons dwell?

Jaa sy veraadz jĕkharvi, lĕširałiz.
I believe that is a great puzzle.

Lĕlinajžanez maj šëjka linaar ža vymikudez maj lom.
I watch the mysterious dragons as they follow the shadows.

Zii jĕnasubaj sa sif u žyravi: khojda rugi u room?
Who can know what sort of marvelsː the other side of the mountain?

Su ataa vë myrisampa šavižaj,
Someone might be relaxing in the blue-green grass,

laghal žirwiz tsano garhši u žaŋëdzaj,
then wandering past thousands of golden eggs,

të naro rizi u timašegh jĕrhivin.
and even through groves of lampwood trees.

Jari maj room saj linaar vyšikitin.
The dragons have flown beyond the mountains.

Kva ghaaž, naro lalii, lĕmikuban – dzavi vaj?
Perhaps some time even I might be able to follow – why not?
