Home in Rochester

I am back home now and wanted to post one last time. The final leg of the trip for me was taking Amtrak from Milwaukee to Red Wing, MN. I arrived in Red Wing about 10pm and found Niel waiting for me on the platform with a bouquet of roses. It was really great to see him! He had arrived in Red Wing by Amtrak earlier in the day from his Holden Village trip. We drove home to Rochester and I have been sharing stories of my adventure ever since.

Ruth should be at her missionary conference in Kenosha now. On Friday she will fly out to Washington to visit our dad and then be moving into her condo in Vancouver, WA.

The around the world adventure was amazing. I certainly saw many new sights, met many nice and interesting people and stretched my comfort zone for trying new things. However, after 5 1/2 weeks I am ready to be at home for awhile.

Thank you for reading this blog. It has been fun to share this special time with others.
