Heroes Con takes place in Charlotte, NC, usually on Father's Day weekend at the Charlotte Convention Center downtown, but this year it was a week before Father's Day weekend. Heroes Con is a nice friendly place to take the whole family to enjoy comics and card games for the most part. If you are into meeting some of the comic greats from the golden and silver age of comics, you'll always be surprised by who shows up at Heroes from year to year. I managed to buy a short box's worth of comics at pretty good prices. I also picked up some trade paperbacks and hardcovers at half cover price. I was so busy rummaging through the long boxes of comics that I didn't take all that many photos this year.

I mainly took photos of art pieces in the Charity Art Auction at the end of the convention. But here are just a few photos I did take just to capture the flavor of the convention.

The photos are either 768x1024 (portrait) or 1024x768 (landscape) in resolution. I apologize for some of the blurry photos, was breaking in a new digital camera, and not quite used to it for a few of the shots where the auto-focus went a little wonky on me.
