Hello, entrepreneurs. It's almost over!

This week:

Read about oral reports and take the quiz

Be working on your final report -- prelim. draft due Dec. 10 (I review and return Dec. 13), final draft due Dec. 17.

Don't forget: the final contains TWO abstracts. Check out the requirements.

Also an oral report (written script or recorded audio) is due Dec. 11. (I make the oral report very easy for you; check out the requirements.)

I stay chained to my desk online all the time. You have questions -- e-mail me!

Hello, all. I had to spend a couple of days in the hospital so that put me behind. I'm okay now; I'll catch up with your work by this coming Wed.

All you need to do this short week is pick an assignment to revise and send it to me by Dec. 3.

Your proposals are coming in -- I'm looking forward to your ingenuity!

This week:

Read the chapter on documentation and take the quiz.
Read the chapter on abstracts and take the quiz.
Read the chapter on recommendation reports and take the quiz.

For Thanksgiving week, all you have to do is format the text for a recommendation report -- NOT write such a report (unless you are an over-achiever). That's due Wed. Nov. 22.

That's a good deal, isn't it? -- David

Proposal is due Nov. 12. Make it a good one! We have some really good reports and guides being written by you all this semester! No cheatin' -- all right?

Meant to say:

I just do not have time for a line-by-line markup -- is what I meant.

I want to extend my thanks and congratulations to you all for writing a bunch of application letters that were ALMOST completely free of the tired old grammar usage punctuation errors that I have been looking at for almost 30 years. Woo-hoo! You've made me a very happy boy!

I am confused on the dates as well. Email states this week's reading and quizzes "can be due as late as
Oct 8", the schedule shows today Oct. 11. I created a google calendar of all my classes and had a
difficult time reconciling the assignments for this class based upon the schedule view and calendar
view on the website.

Thanks,
Karin

I'm late, aren't I? I discovered and had to fix some coding errors. Some of you should now see your headings and lists quizzes show up in your gradebook.

This week, we begin studies for the instructions project:

Instructions reading and quiz
Headings reading and quiz
Lists reading and quiz
Task analysis reading and quiz

These can be due as late as Oct. 8

The instructions project will be due Oct. 22.

More later -- David

I know I am already behind at this point, but I remember reading about having to do
a "bootcamp" before submitting any work, but I can not manage to find it again. Can
anyone please guide me in the right direction?

Thank you

Hi. Your resumes and application letters are due next Sunday, Oct. 8.

A good way to think about these two is to imagine them describing YOU once you
have completed your degree and are looking a job. Then tape that on your door
and look at it every time you leave.

You'll need to have completed the Writer's Bootcamp by the 8th also.

After that, I will not accept assignments if you've not completed the bootcamp.

I know: I am such a meanie! -- David
