In the post mortem, more felicitously called the "project evaluation," your team discusses what went wrong, what went right, what (in hindsight) could have improved the project, and what lessons were learned. Your team evaluates the project for a number of reasons, one of the most important being to improve future projects. Ideally, your team has collected statistical data which you use to study the phases of your project and the worloads of team members. A good post mortem can also show you which phases you left out of your process and which phases were unnecessary and can be excluded next time.
Get together with your team to discuss how the project went and write a summary on your team website area. Include in this discussion and summary how the course went so I can improve on it as well.
